Welcome!

I am so glad you found my Jacks!

The Coles Notes version is that I breed for temperament and health, not CKC conformation (question #1, no the pups are not registered) . Before breeding, each dog undergoes OFA (hips and elbows) and DNA (tested for over 240 genetic diseases)

My Momma dogs are placed with Guardian Homes, for free, and once they have provided 2 litters, become soley owned by that same family. I feel it allows each dog to be loved, exercised (both mentally and physically) and a part of a family, where all dogs should be. Here's a Q & A on the Mommas.

I donate dogs for Service Dogs as they are required (organizations only have so many trainers!) Service dog potential pups have a very specific temperament, which rarely happens organically.

The Future Mommas and Future Service Dogs are no cost, the pet quality pups sales cover the fees of the program.

The pups are vet health checked, first vaccine and micro chipped prior to going home (plus de wormed). Check out the Puppy Q & A

Starting at 1 day old early intervention starts. Neurological stimulation, scent and motion sickness protocols all begin. The pups are given daily socialization exposure. Schools, seniors residents, long term care facilities, private session as well as adventure outings. They are set up here at home with sensory items, and often those are added to the instagram page.

I have favorite links to outside websites that I feel are importantand I will share. Often things like stubborn is a misunderstood life stage, like maturity. Please check out some of my go-to pages and come back when you're ready for your pup!

Drop It. I love this way of teaching it. We all know how easy it is to teach our pups that when they grab something they shouldn't a game of chase is their reward. So much fun for the puppy and so much frustration for us. But did you know you can use this command "drop it" , once taught it can also redirect the pup from jumping or barking? Now you do! Watch the video, teach and practice it BEFORE you need it... and boom, easy button!

One thing I see over and over again, as a trainer, is dogs getting responses when they are "bad" but ignored when they are "good". So, if you are a confident, brilliant pup.... you repeat the thing that gets a response from the human. As the human, you can manipulate this into repeating the desired behavior instead of unwanted ones. Lets drop the word "no" from our vocabulary and replace it with "yes". Here's an easy way to incorporate saying "yes" into your day. Smart 50
